met xy for lunch on monday for a short catch up session. will be meeting the rest of my touch girls soon! =)
our adventure: we took 1.5 hour to travel from Clementi to Cityhall, by car!
reasons being,- we missed a turn to the highway
- took a detour to avoid ERP
- tried to look for cheap parking
- got caught in a jam due to F1 road closure
we finally parked at Capitol Building, which was supposed to have cheap parking(the parking fee was $7.20 by the time we left 4 hours later)!
it's more expensive than Raffles City which we initially wanted to park at. and we got caught in the same ERP when we made a U-turn to go to peninsular plaza because of the road closure! that's what we got for trying to be cheapskate. =(
the late lunch at NYNY was great! but really expensive. i guess we were too hungry. and dessert at Swensen's - Banana Crumble!
