First day of school
i was a little late for my first lecture this semester. the lecture was packed and stuffy! luckily i had a seat saved for me by my lovelies. =)
i met some RE people in the lift on the way up and i saw that they had lecture notes! i checked and double checked the IVLE for so many times till late last night and i'm quite sure nothing was uploaded there. after asking i found out that the notes were uploaded THIS MORNING at 9am when our lecture starts at 12noon.
i thought the new lecturer will be nice like the previous and print notes for us. but she didn't! and i was a little irritated because i totally dislike the feeling of going to a lecture unprepared. so Huijie noticed i was a quite grumpy at the start. then i practically stoned throughout the dry and boring lecture. a great way to start the year.
only one lecture today! and i realised just now that our tutorial starts in September! which means a 3 short day week for me for now! =)
we all met up with minmin (she transferred to Biz) for lunch at Arts canteen's Lerk Thai. the food's standard fell. and the coffee from Olio's wasn't fantastic either. after parting with the boys, we left school for Bugis.
collected Suzanne's shoes and i bought a pair myself to replace my faithful Charles & Kieth ones which are falling apart soon. then i bought some presents for my family because my pay came in the other day! more to come soon!
we went to MOF while i'm waiting for my mom to collect me for dinner. the girls ordered desserts. the flavours are all green tea with red bean/sweet potato. can i say yucks? not a fan of these. =X
i also bought my first textbook for the semester! shall work harder this time. we shall all go for summer term next year? since there are no CAP requirements and its a shorter period of time. =)
