it was work work work and some fun from tues to fri at CommunicAsia. i can't say how glad i am that minmin was with me for this 4 days.

work was dreadful. the service we are getting people to register for is FREE. but no one really wants to. this shows how stupid the service is. so i keep getting rejected and that's really depressing.

more dreadful stuff like the bright Lakers uniforms with 'come get my number' at the back (although i got quite used to it by the end of 4 days),

the rude people whom either totally pretended that we were non-exsistent or waved us off as if we were pests,

the really mean HR girl who keep messaging us to work harder and even sms-ed minmin 'hi, are you working? how come whole day only 2 sign ups. you need help?' when we were standing right in front of the booth working like slaves,

and the irritating people who kept asking for our numbers or tried to discreetly take photos of us thinking that we won't notice (as if!).

but still, there are always the little stuff which brightened up my days.

like the free coffee from the Singtel booth,

free ice cream from Yahoo!,

lunch breaks,

looking at pretty models,

nice people whom i had decent conversations with,

and our really kind boss who was really kind when we told him we had really few sign ups and that its good to be rejected because it is a form training for us.

the last day was the best when we roamed around not really doing much. we managed to catch some performances like dances and sand art. i was totally shocked while watching one of the dance performances when a Caucasian girl flashed her behind like 3 times or more in her short short skirt. the first time i thought: 'omg! no, i think she is wearing something.' the second time: 'OMG! she's not wearing anything!' the third time: 'oh. G-string.' and there was this disgusting Caucasian man who was squatting down taking pictures of them. i felt like kicking him.

many thanks to my friends and family who lent me their numbers for registration or for filling up forms. it helped to make my last day of work the most enjoyable one. =)

managed to meet up with guigui, suzanne, huijie and jeremy on wed evening for a belated birthday dinner celebration for jeremy at Shokudo. their desert was the best! i had a great time laughing the whole night (although i still don't understand the pencil part).

was especially happy on fri too because my agent called and told minmin she can go for training for Starhub next week. which means that we can work together again! we also considered learning the art of coffee making from the chief steward of Geek Terminal who was the one making the free coffee from the Singtel booth. (see www.geekterminal.com)

and my boy was sweet enough to pick me up from Expo. we left for Vivo after a series of confusion and a late lunch at Burger King. went to Dragonfly @ St. James at night with a few Hubbers as there was free entry before 9pm. i realised i changed my outfit a total of 3 times that day (from uniform to casual to smart casual!). the music and atmosphere was lively and i was quite surprised that they actually sing chinese songs there. however, no seats were available despite us being early as most seats were reserved.

we explored abit and i think St. James is quite a nice place. there are areas where its not that rowdy and noisy with nice relaxing music. but the food is seriously over-priced. its $6 for a miserable hot dog so we drank beer all night and went for supper at ECP later on.

i noticed this disgusting old man (in his fifties at least) who was shaking his butt to the music in a very gay manner which totally grossed me out. and then i saw him cuddling with this young woman in her mid twenties which made things worse. but i guess i shouldn't be surprised.

today is a jam jam day as i got caught in jams with my boy for 5 times as we drove from places to places.

jam when we enter AMK hub's carpark,

jam on the way to Bugis area,

jam on the way to PIE,

jam on PIE itself. there was a chain accident involving at least 15 cars broken into 3 series of at least 6 cars each. one of the longest chain accident i've ever seen.

and finally jam as we enter Costa Sands carpark where Weekang's 21st birthday chalet was held.

it was supper with some hubbers at a HK cafe along Siglap road. my first time to that area. time spent was enjoyable although i don't have much appetite after the last few jams.

and now, Euro Cup Quarter Finals: Netherlands vs Russia. it was quite a boring 83mins and i don't know why i haven't off-ed my tv by now. great, it has just gone into extra time.
