it has been a really busy week! running around for the past few days and i hardly have enough time to sleep! but i finally get to sleep in today. =)


15th May (Thurs):
impromptu mahjong session at dai tr's hse after lunch. called up kingyu and ws's 'best friend' weihao. surprisingly, the session turned out to be much more enjoyable than expected. weihao proved to be as entertaining as ws with his lame jokes and weird gestures. satisfied my long awaited craving for mahjong. =)


16th May (Fri):
woke up early the next morning to meet my boy for mac breakfast. i seriously never thought this day would come where we could actually have breakfast together. ♥ ♥ ♥

picked guigui and bf andrew, minmin and suzanne at harbourfront to go to sentosa. went to sentosa cove for a site visit. a very nice but expensive place, but most of the buildings are under construction.

we settled down at siloso and played fun touch and some basketball before we went into the waters while the boys stayed behind to play more basketball with some other boys. minmin and i had fun watching guigui and suzanne act out a complete drama of a mother and daughter who swam all the way from china and blah blah. too bad i promised not the upload the videos. =P

lunch at sakae, felt abit cheated by the restaurant. they don't really serve sushi. its like a mix of sakae teppanyaki and a la carte. and they don't serve ice water or hot green tea. i've never heard of a japanese restaurant which don't serve hot green tea. in the end i ordered bibimbap, a korean dish because the other food don't really appeal to me. and then i felt quite ridiculous, i mean, who eats KOREAN food in a JAPANESE resaurant? but it turned out to be not bad.

proceeded to palawan next, waters for the girls and andrew while baby and i climbed the towers. managed to catch a glimpse of the performance at dolphin lagoon from the top. and i watched the others play in the water for awhile. then we just sat down and enjoyed the breeze sweeping around us, having intruders from different countries once in awhile.

meeting the others back at the beach with a nice surprise of a drawing on the beach by guigui. i haven't got the picture yet, might upload it another time. but then she 'disfigured' it with 'you-know-what'. but i still like it alot. thanks girls! ♥

dinner was great at thai express vivo, and then we parted our ways. feeling quite drained and warm by the time i reached home.


17th May (Sat):
dragged myself up with a splitting headache the next morning to go to chinatown for a trail facilitator training with xinyu. walking about in the hot sun didn't help at all. and girl, i finally get to catch up with you!!! don't worry about what others say or think ok. don't let the others affect you. i'll be meeting you soon. =)


rushed home and rushed out to jt's hse for an early bithday celebration for zl. missed the cake making session. played a round of mahjong with pokie, zl and kit before we met some of the hdk guys along the way for dinner at the The Stone Grill. its somewhere in katong opp. katong shopping centre. the exact place is 91 East Coast Road.

i must say that the food was great and the ambience perfect. its a restaurant opened by jt's cousin-in-law. he's really nice to treat us to a bottle of wine. =) we each get to cook our own steak or salmon or chicken, etc. on a piece of squarish heated stone. and the price is really reasonable too. around $20 plus minus each depending on what is ordered. quite worth it.

we took a really long bus journey back to jt's hse for a last round of mahjong before cabbing home while the other girls stayed over.

was quite worried that my boy didn't reply my messages or return my calls. but i found out much later that he also had such a bad headache he had to stay in bed. i concluded that it must be due to the sun the day before and lack of sleep. i'm glad u are much better. =)
